Probably the most vibrantly colored wedding I've ever photographed - oh my GOODNESS!!! Everything about Savannah and Grant's intimate backyard wedding day was STUNNING. Because of how early I arrived that afternoon, I truly got to watch every little intricate detail come to life outside and it was so magical because everytime I looked out the window or stepped into the backyard - there was ALWAYS something new to capture!!!
Oh my goodness y'all.....this wedding was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! From the minute I drove up to the venue - I just knew it was going to be a special one! Mikayla and Lee both have the sweetest, most joyful souls and it was such an honor being their photographer!!! Definitely a great way to end my 2019 wedding year, that's for sure!!! Phew! 😍
TEARS OF JOY. Not only did I get to celebrate my sweet college roommate saying "I Do" to her very best friend.....I got to also experience all the beautiful behind the scenes moments of her WHOLE entire day!!!! Being by Maggie's side when her father broke down in tears when he saw her in her wedding gown for the first time to hearing Ethan's sweet uplifting whispers during their first look - saying how much he loved her and how beautiful she was to me carefully putting her veil on for after-ceremony couple portraits (yes I gave myself a high five when I did this) to riding around in their getaway car with them while the driver blasted "Happy" by Pharrell Williams....you could say my heart was freaking FULL and overflowing with joy.
AND......THEY'RE MARRIED!!! ❤😭 Gosh, this wedding was ONE FOR THE books!! From hearing Levi's sweet handwritten vows, to watching his adorable grandfather officiate the wedding ceremony, to seeing all the bridesmaids tear up when they saw Madison's beautiful dress, to working alongside Cold Creek Farm's AMAZING staff, and to last but not least - seeing my boyfriend be the best man for his best friend's wedding.....well.....you could say my heart was FULL by the end of the weekend. The rain and wind couldn't stop their day from being absolutely perfect and I'm so glad they got the wedding day of their dreams!! CONGRATS to the newlyweds!!! 💍🎉💌😍
Leading up to this wedding weekend, I was so nervous because the weather forecast said it was going to be pouring down rain RIGHT when portraits were supposed to start…..but God PROVIDED - ya’ll. We had the best weather, a perfect breeze, shade for portraits, and nooooooo rain fall at ALL! Holly and Daniel had the sweetest ceremony held in their church’s chapel - surrounded by loved ones and lots of gorgeous sunflowers so of course it was the best day ever!
I walked 9,691 steps on this day, told by my watch, but it was so worth it for Bailley and Robert's beautiful wedding!!!! 💗 Everything about this wedding day was so sweet and so heartfelt. I haven't photographed a first look in what feels like forever because a lot of my couples love seeing each other for the first time during the ceremony but PHEW, Bailley and Robert's first look brought me to TEARS. Their love for each other and the way Robert was absolutely speechless when his bride tapped his shoulder to turn around....I mean how could you not love that??? 💕🌸💜
The sweetest vow renewal happened Thursday evening and my whole heart exploded!!! Mysti and Ethan have the most beautiful love for each other and it was magical to watch/photograph. Oh how I loved this beautiful Sunday wedding!!! 💗💕💓 Georgia decided to bring back winter temperatures so we were all freezing our patooties off but you can't see that in the photos! Everything about this day was so much fun! From all the dancing, singing, laughing, and crying - I think Kayla and Tony had the best wedding day they could have ever possibly imagined!! 🎉
These two. This venue. Their love for each other. The handwritten vows. The weather. Everything. I can't thank Tori and Josh enough for letting me be apart of their beautiful day!!!! I love my job as a photographer because I get to experience SO many joyful moments in my client's lives, like their FREAKING WEDDING DAY!!!! My whole entire heart y'all.....💛 || I seriously could not have dreamed up a better day for Cassy and Larry!!!! I've been looking forward to this day since last September when I photographed their surprise proposal and to say I didn't cry like I was apart of the family the whole day......would be a lie. Over the past year I have grown so close to this couple due to wedding planning, phone calls, group texts, and emails so when it came down to the actual wedding day - I felt so much joy in my heart, like all the family members and guests did! Everything about their day was perfect and I am so blessed they let me drive up to Virginia to be their photographer again but this time...with a little wedding twist 😉!!!
