Am I the only one who has a hard time sticking to resolutions for the new year? I laugh at myself so much because of how many times I look at my list and realize that I made way too many goals for 2018. But that's just it.....is there really such a thing as too many goals? Life is full of new days, new memories, new opportunities, new friendships, new music....new EVERYTHING. Why not embrace that?!?!?!
In tonight's blog post, I am sharing my New Year's Resolutions. These are the things I want to accomplish during the year and I am so excited to see my results over the next few months!!!
Graduate from college in May
Become a Full-Time Photographer (my version of a 9-5 job hehe)
Book at least 4 out of state weddings
Get off social media unless it is for Jett Photography purposes
Rely on God for anything and everything
Tithe every time I get a paycheck
Shoot more creatively. Get into the creative mind when it comes to photographs
Book at least 20 weddings for the year 2018
Go to 6 country concerts (Goal Artists: Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Dan + Shay, Josh Turner, and Russell Dickerson)
Lead 3 or more people to Christ
Host my own workshop for upcoming photographers that don't now where to start
Second shoot for two of my favorite photographers or study under them as an intern/shadow
Forget insecurities and say hello to positive vibes
Stop comparing other people's lives to my own
To gain confidence with where I am in life and where I am going
Clean more and have a more organized desk
Stop eating fast food (including Chick-Fil-A which is going to be super hard)
Buy a 24-70mm lens
Go to Washington D.C.
Make 2018 the best year yet (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The list above is raw, honest, and pure. It's my list of challenging yet great goals for this upcoming year that I plan on accomplishing. I am nervous.....I am unpatient.....I am doubtful...I am hesitant....but I am hopeful in God's plan for me.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9
