It’s crazy how small the world feels sometimes!!!! One day I’m playing on the playground with my neighbor’s friends from church and then…..the next (years down the road), I’m photographing a wedding for one of them. When I originally got McKenzie’s email, I was OVER THE MOON because at first she spoke about being recommended to me by a previous bride of mine but then I kept reading….and kept trying to figure out why her name sounded so familiar….and then I got to the part where she mentioned memories from our childhood where we all used to play together at my sweet neighbor’s house which truly just blew my mind that she even remembered that!!! It’s been so much fun reconnecting with her and being apart of this special time in her life/relationship! I hope you guys enjoy these photos from their garden engagement session because phew, I absolutely love them!!! This location has always been one of my favorites and when she mentioned wanting photos with flowers/greenery everywhere….I just KNEW this was the place to go!

She has grown into such a strong, confident, outgoing, and compassionate woman - I can’t wait to see how she flourishes in college and BEYOND!!! Yesterday, with Nate and Cassiel, turned out to be so beautiful and I was so honored that they asked me to be apart of their special day in the mountains. The weather was warm and breezy, the venue was stunning, and their gentle hugs/hand holds throughout the evening were all just the perfect touch for a beautiful wedding.

I love them oh so much and when my sister asked me to be apart of this session for her little family, I just knew I had to do it!! I’ve been taking both of their photos since birth and it’s been such a beautiful journey seeing my sister become a wife/mom, raise two amazing daughters, and allowing me to be apart of all these special moments in her children’s lives!! Read MoreFun fact….when Michelle and Brent said “I Do”, their new title became “The Dunns” so the fact they got married at The Barn at Dunn Manor is the perfect touch to their love story. They chose to have an afternoon wedding at 1:00pm and depart for their honeymoon around 3:00pm which was awesome because you could really tell that they were 10000% excited to just get married and start their new adventure as husband and wife! The sun was definitely shining on this warm/breezy day but gosh everything turned out to be stunning and I’m so grateful they asked me to be apart of this moment for them.

As a huge Georgia fan, I had to hold in a few squeals while walking around campus but by the end of it - champagne bottle pops and all, I truly felt at home when we arrived at the stadium and maaaannnn oh man do I love me some Dawgs!!
